Oluwayeni Abraham, PT, DPT
Oluwayeni Abraham, PT, DPT, is a women's health physical therapist dedicated to helping women in Arlington, Texas, find relief from painful menstrual cycles, complex pelvic pain conditions, and infertility. Dr. Yeni, as her patients know her, heads Triggered Physical Therapy and is passionate about providing collaborative, patient-centered care for women in her community.
Dr. Yeni received her Bachelor in Science and Doctoral degrees from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. Following graduation, she trained at the Memorial Hermann Hospital System in Houston, Texas, and has since practiced as a licensed physician in Texas. Dr. Yeni began her career in outpatient orthopedics, but she quickly transitioned to acute care and physical therapy within a respected hospital system in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Her work in acute care extends from level I trauma to elective orthopedic surgeries.
Dr. Yeni is well-versed in women's health physical therapy. She has extensive education and training in pelvic floor dysfunction through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is trained in dry needling. Dr. Yeni uses her treatment techniques to address many chronic issues, from chronic migraines to post-mastectomy lymphatic massage.
Among her specializations, Dr. Yeni helps women manage pelvic pain, pelvic dysfunction, postpartum/c-section recovery, mechanical infertility, pelvic pain associated with uterine fibroids, irregular menses, and endometriosis.
