How Does Physical Therapy Help With Infertility in Women?
Manual physical therapy has been demonstrated to reverse female infertility attributed to occluded fallopian tubes, hormonal dysregulation, endometriosis, and unexplained infertility and to increase successful in vitro cycles.
Patients who qualify for traditional procedures are also candidates for pelvic physical therapy for fertility. This course of treatment may be beneficial for patients primary or secondary infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, uterine fibroids or other problems with ovulation.
Manual Treatment is deep visceral manipulation in the abdomen and pelvis with the intention of promoting blood flow and treating connective tissue issues in the reproductive organs.
